Youth Ministry is a process, not a program, by which youth are led to a deeper relationship with
Christ and a deeper commitment to the work of the church in the world. It is a process that transforms people from being willing
participants in church programs to being people whose lives are committed to being the body of Jesus Christ.
"Do not let anyone look down on you
because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
(I Timothy 4:12)
The Youth Ministry at New Hope UMC is for grades 6 through 12. We offer teenagers the opportuinity to have fun and grow deeper in
their relationship with Christ through worship, fellowship, service, evangelism, and discipleship. NHUMC has numerous activities,
events and small groups where youth a can learn, grow, strengthen their faith and make friends.
