United Methodist Men (UMM)

The Mission of United Methodist Men

United Methodist Men have both an opportunity and an obligation to make a major impact on the millions of men in our church. The mission of the GCUMM is to assist men to know Jesus Christ, to serve Him, to grow spiritually, and seek daily to do His will. Fellowship and service to our Church and community is our goal.

Who We Are

UMMen are a band of brothers in the business of awakening, inspiring, challenging, supporting, training, equipping and resourcing men as they become Christlike in their daily lives. Our highest priority is to build and promote the spiritual growth of men. We call our men to become servant leaders, as this emulates the model life shown to us by our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. The time is now to call men to a personal and vital relationship with Christ.

United Methodist Men Monthly Meeting

The UMM have their Men's Breakfast meeting, in the Church Fellowship Hall, on the last Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m.

UMM 1st Annual Chili CookOff & UMW Bake Sale – 2008

The United Methodist Men hosted the 1st Annual Chili CookOff and Bake Sale on April 5, 2008. The money raised from the Chili CookOff goes towards our church ministries so we can give back to the community. Many thanks to all who helped make this fund raiser such a success. Special thanks to the United Methodist Women for the delicious baked goods.

UMM Fundraiser Luncheon – 2008

The United Methodist Men and all who helped out did a wonderful job at the chicken pot pie fundraiser that was held on January 26, 2008. It was a great success. The support from the public was overwhelming.
