Prayer Warriors

The Prayer Warriors Ministry collects the prayer requests submitted by telephone, or to the Pastor, and those placed in the offering plate each Sunday. Prayer requests can also be entered in the Prayer Request Book which is located in the Church Narthax. The requests are then relayed to members who desire to pray and intercede for those in crisis. Once a prayer has been said a cross is placed by the persons name in the Prayer Request Book. The Prayer Warriors pray in their homes, cars, and whenever they have a quiet moment to talk with our Lord. If you are interested in becoming a Prayer Warrior contact Mary Ruckle. Sarah Meadows

Church Prayer Ministry

The New Hope UM Church Prayer Ministry meets at 2:00 p.m. each Tuesday in the Sanctuary to pray for individuals, our community, our country, our leaders and for the world. Please join us. The Church doors are open.

Prayer Request Book

Loss Of A Loved One

The Pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church would like to support you if you have recently lost a loved one. Please telephone the pastor with the following information:

Your name and phone number;
Name of the deceased;
Date of loss;
Name of the funeral home;
Affiliation of the deceased (member or non-member);
Family relations to NHUMC (family members who attend NHUMC); and
The visitation and funeral arrangements.

Please let the Pastor know if you have any immediate needs that he can assist you with.

Counseling Ministry

Now there's a place in New Hope UMC you can turn to in times of need. Our Pastor is dedicated to restoring broken relationships and building healthy families who can weather any storm.
