7:00 p.m. Wednesdays
Bible Study at New Hope UMC, located in the Sanctuary, is designed for people to not just understand what happened a long time ago.
It’s designed to answer the questions: “What is the relevance for me? What is this saying to me about me?”
That’s what it’s all about: Making the Bible come alive. When New Hope Pastor Ed Rutenkroger talks about the Bible,
he’s talking about a different book than the dusty one many of us grew up with.
Pastor Ed keeps the discussions lively and the readings personal.
Men’s Fellowship, Prayer & Bible Study Group
The Men’s Fellowship, Prayer, and Bible Study Group will be meeting each Monday morning at 7am at the Twysted Turtle Bistro 109 N. Church St.,
Hertford, NC. What a great way to start the week.
The Rev. Larry Bowden, Hertford UMC; Rev. Ed Rutenkroger, New Hope UMC;
and Rev. Ray Tavenner, Oak Grove UMC will lead the Bible Study each Monday. This will be an on–going men’s activity of the
church.
All men, both church members and nonmembers of various age groups, are invited to attend this time of fellowship, prayer, study, discussion, and practical application of
the Scripture! All men are welcome, regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey.
While very informal, simply bring a Bible and an eagerness to learn more about the Bible.
Also, you can order breakfast or coffee from the restaurant menu. When you come to the Study, park in the alley behind the restaurant and come
in the back door of the Twysted Turtle. We look forward to seeing you there.
